Will the “Transformers” series merge with another series? The director of “Rise of the Beasts” discusses the chances of a sequel

Will Transformers: Rise of the Beasts get a sequel? Director Steven Caple Jr. discussed his chances of returning behind the camera for the sequel and revealed whether he intends to follow the final scene of the show, which opens up new perspectives for the “Transformers” series.

Steven Caple Jr.’s Thoughts on the Future of “Transformers”

“I’m not officially signed for another movie yet. We’re working on it, but I haven’t signed anything yet. Conversations are ongoing. However, I planted a lot of seeds for the future in the film,” revealed Steven Caple Jr. “When I talk to studios and producers about the future, we often use the word ‘we’. It came naturally. We laid the foundation in this film, with the future in mind. So yes, we’re in talks.”

Will ‘Transformers’ Team Up with Another Franchise?

ATTENTION! SPOILER!

Caple also referred to the last scene of “Rise of the Beasts,” which suggests the possibility of connecting the “Transformers” universe with the “G.I. Joe” series: “I’d love to go in that direction. I have a number of ideas on how to expand this second franchise. If the crossover I’m planning can be executed, I think there’s a chance to satisfy Transformers fans and also do something exciting with another legendary franchise. I’d be thrilled if it worked.”

Both the “Transformers” series and the “G.I. Joe” series are based on Hasbro toys, and there have been several crossovers between their worlds in the comics.

What Is Transformers: Rise of the Beasts About?
