This week, Timothée Chalamet made waves on social media by showing up to the London premiere of A COMPLETE UNKNOWN on a Lime bike — a company known for renting electric scooters and bicycles. The actor even rode it onto the red carpet.

However, Chalamet revealed on the French talk show “Quotidien” that he had to pay a £65 fine for improper parking of the vehicle.

He also explained that his choice of a bike wasn’t motivated by eco-consciousness but rather by traffic.

“It was terrible because it came off as an ad,” the actor commented.
