“Star Trek: Lower Decks” is part of the Star Trek television universe developed by Paramount+. The series often featured characters known from other shows in the cycle or references and Easter eggs specifically for fans of this world.

The protagonists of “Star Trek: Lower Decks” are not Starfleet officers but rather four ensigns serving on the least important ship – the USS Cerritos – in the year 2380. How does the mission look from their perspective that the ship has to fulfill?

To prevent fans from being too sad, Paramount+ has announced that another series from the Star Trek universe will not end soon. This is “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.” Although work on the third season is currently underway, the platform has already commissioned the production of the fourth.

“Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” tells the adventures of the USS Enterprise crew under the command of Christopher Pike.
