In “Marvels,” Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) has reclaimed her identity from the tyrants of the Kree Empire and sought revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unforeseen consequences throw the burden of a destabilized universe onto her shoulders. Duty calls her to a space-time anomaly connected to the Kree. Carol’s powers are merged with those of Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), her superfan from Jersey City, and her long-lost niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. This unlikely trio must unite their strengths to save the universe.

Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) has just made her debut in the series “Ms. Marvel.” Monica Rambeau first appeared in “Captain Marvel,” albeit as a young girl. The adult version of her is portrayed by Teyonah Parris, who starred in “WandaVision.” The series depicts how her character acquired her powers.
