Benedict Cumberbatch reveals: There will be jump scares in ‘DoctorStrange 2’

Now it is not long before you can see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in cinemas across the country.
In that regard, we’ve talked to the stars of the new Marvel movie over a Zoom connection, which includes the three-leaf clover Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong.
We inquired as to what imprint the film’s director Sam Raimi has put on the film. The 62-year-old American filmmaker is known partly for creating some of the most groundbreaking horrors with the Evil Dead films, and for kick-starting the modern era of superhero films with the original Spider-Man trilogy.
The director thus brings the experience from both the world of horror and the aesthetics of superheroes into the new film, which follows directly after Spider-Man: No Way Home, where the grandiose multiverse unfolds.

- It has his signature crash zooms. And his bid for a thriller, to the extent it can be allowed. And some single jumpscares too.
Elizabeth Olsen emphasizes that even though he is a man with a penchant for horror, Sam Raimi is a pleasure to work with.
- He is very gentle and kind to work with. And he is a good collaborator. He brought a lot to the film as well as an openness.
In the film, Marvel’s mighty wizard comes to work overtime as the young girl America Chavez is chased by a mysterious creature across universes.
Doctor Strange picks up i.a. help with the magical Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch and the wizard Wong, who together embark on a journey across the multiverse, where Strange comes face to face with himself – literally.
