We have good news for fans of Benoit Blanc and the “Knives Out” series. After delays caused by the writers’ strike, everything is on track for the realization of “Knives Out 3.”
When will filming for “Knives Out 3” begin?
Rian Johnson has been working on the plot for the third film in the “Knives Out” series for quite some time now. However, a writers’ strike erupted, forcing the series creator to postpone the project.
In October, in an interview with The Wrap, he declared that he had taken a serious approach to work. At that time, he already had the plot idea ready and could envision the shape of the film. What remained was to transfer it onto paper.

Benoit Blanc and the crimes of the wealthy
Details of the “Knives Out 3” plot are not yet known. However, it seems certain that it will resemble the two previous parts.
In both of the previous films in the “Knives Out” series, Benoit Blanc entered the world of the wealthiest and most privileged. Each film featured a constellation of characters played by some of Hollywood’s hottest names.
The first “Knives Out” was a theatrical film made for Lionsgate Studios. However, the next two films are the result of Netflix’s generosity, as the platform made Rian Johnson an incredibly generous offer.
