It’s official: the PAW Patrol returns to cinema screens to protect the adventure town from Mayor Know-It-All and his evil machinations. A magical meteorite gives the pup patrol superpowers, transforming them into the Mighty Pups. For Skye, this fulfills a long-cherished wish that quickly turns into a nightmare. Evil villains wreak havoc on the four-legged heroes to steal their superpowers. With unity, compassion and friendship, can the PAW Patrol turn Adventure City’s fortunes around for the better?
When does PAW Patrol 2: The Mighty Movie start?
On August 19, 2021, the rescue team around Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma and Ryder celebrated the cinema premiere with “PAW Patrol: The Movie” and welcomed a new member to the ranks of the brave puppies with dog lady Liberty. The film grossed over $144 million at the box office worldwide (via Box Office Mojo), so a sequel was only a matter of time.
But it’s now official: As RTL announced, the PAW Patrol can once again conquer the screen. Until then, fans of the cute four-legged friends big and small will have to be patient. “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie” will not be released in German cinemas until September 28, 2023, just in time for the tenth anniversary of the children’s series (via Deadline).
What is the sequel The Mighty Movie about?
Like every episode of the children’s series “PAW Patrol”, the plot of “PAW Patrol: The Movie” is largely complete. Accordingly, a whole new endeavor awaits us in “PAW Patrol 2”. As Deadline reveals, a magical meteorite hits the adventure town and has unforeseen consequences. Suddenly, the members of the PAW Patrol have superpowers and transform into the Mighty Pups. As the youngest pup, Skye in particular is fascinated by her new skills.
However, the four-pawed heroes must quickly realize that great power also brings great responsibility. In addition, her arch-rival Mayor Know-It-All has an eye on superpowers. To get her from the PAW Patrol, he teams up with a mad scientist who is also up to no good.
Not only is the future of the PAW Patrol at stake, but that of all of Adventure City. In order to finish off the villains, the dogs must pull together. Skye, in particular, must learn how important her position within the PAW Patrol really is. Will she conquer her self-doubt? And how will newcomer Liberty fare on their first official mission?

What dogs are in PAW Patrol 2: The Mighty Movie?
