“Red Dead Redemption” is finally on the Nintendo console! However, there’s one catch

After years of anticipation, Nintendo enthusiasts can finally shout “yeehaw!” with enthusiasm. “Red Dead Redemption,” along with the “Undead Nightmare” add-on, is set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch and PS4 on August 17. However, there’s a catch and a bit of a downside to this announcement.

As it turns out, the edition of the game being released, also available on PS5 due to backward compatibility, isn’t a remaster but rather a straightforward port of the 13-year-old game. What’s more, the title will be launched without significant enhancements, won’t be available on PC, and will be priced at PLN 209. One of the most noteworthy improvements is the inclusion of Polish subtitles in this iconic production.

Could it be that Rockstar intends to sidestep the issues that plagued the GTA remasters, which required substantial fixes long after their release and fell short of expectations? Providing a definite answer is challenging; the quality of this port will become evident soon.
