Robocop is back, but is it the return we’ve been waiting for?

Yesterday, reports from both IGN and Gamespot appeared on the web from the gameplay of the upcoming “Robocop: Rogue City“. In addition to the extensive experience on these two portals, you can also find pure gameplay on the web, thanks to the user Punish. What can we expect?

It seems, and it is confirmed by the editors of the above-mentioned websites, that our iron policeman will be practically indestructible. In “Robocop: Rogue City” we will play the role of Alex Murphy, who was voiced by the actor who played the first “Robocop” – Peter Weller. Again, it will be thrown on the streets of Detroit to clean them of criminals, accompanied by dry jokes that are an inseparable part of the movies. According to IGN, putting a killing machine like Robocop in our hands is a blessing and a curse at the same time. Alex is incredibly slow, but he’s a walking armor who doesn’t have to worry about hiding behind cover and being agile on the battlefield. You can confidently push your way into enemies, and when you run out of ammo, you can resort to melee combat that can kill any opponent with one blow. It is difficult to say whether this solution will work in the long run, but in the early stages of the game, the opponents did not pose much of a challenge.

Detroit, which is dark, bathed in neon lights and a little light from street lamps, deserves praise. Is this the game Alex Murphy fans have been waiting for? Time will tell, the game will be released in September.
