Some journalists and critics have had the opportunity to see it and are highlighting the performances of Keanu Reeves and Donnie Yen John Wick 4.
As Keanu Reeves had previously anticipated, John Wick: Chapter 4 is the film in the franchise with the most action. The long-awaited return of the character appears to live up to expectations, at least according to the initial reactions that critics have shared on social media. One critic goes as far as calling it the best action movie of the last decade. Is it truly that remarkable?

On Twitter, The Brandalorian said, ‘John Wick 4 rocks it from start to finish. Keanu Reeves has found new ways to impress with spectacular action from him.’ The Hashtag Show added, ‘It is a show that you do not want to miss.’ They also mentioned that Keanu Reeves and Donnie Yen deliver great performances in the movie, making it one of the best action films of recent times.

Rama’s Screen assures that the film lives up to expectations, stating, ‘I don’t mind the lengthy runtime because the action at the Arc de Triomphe makes it all worthwhile.’ Jeff Erwing shares his enthusiasm, saying, ‘I absolutely loved it. There are scenes that leave you with your mouth open, and you’ll never look at stairs the same way again. Donnie Yen is outstanding. It’s one of the best movies of the past decade.’
Hunter Bolding also emphasizes the quality of John Wick 4 as an action movie, exclaiming, ‘It’s one of the best action movies. My jaw dropped at least six times.’ Eric Heisenberg, another reviewer, initially had reservations about the nearly three-hour runtime, but ultimately found the movie to be worth it, describing it as ‘epic’ with smart pacing that doesn’t make the action feel overwhelming.
