Will the Xenomorph appear at all in the series Alien: Earth? Noah Hawley responds

Next year, the series Alien: Earth will debut, with its storyline set on Earth before the events of the original Alien. Does this mean that Xenomorphs won’t appear in the series? Not necessarily. Creator Noah Hawley answers this question.

Noah Hawley teases his version of the Xenomorph

Noah Hawley was asked about the upcoming series Alien: Earth on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. Here’s what he revealed about his project:

“There’s something chilling when you see a Xenomorph in an earthly setting with your own eyes. Just the thought that it could be moving among us… I can’t tell you under what circumstances you’ll see it, but you will see it — and you’ll lock your doors at night,” said Hawley.

“I had a great time working with the monster and bringing my own ideas to its design without altering the silhouette because that’s sacred,” the creator added. “As we know, certain elements — like who the host is — affect the final form of the creature, so I wanted to play with that and make it as terrifying as possible.”

Alien: Earth – what do we know about the series?

The storyline is set before the first film, Alien – The 8th Passenger of the Nostromo. The creators have confirmed that Earth is designed as a large, multi-season production that will allow for the exploration of still-unknown parts of the Alien universe.

The main character of the series will be Wendy, played by Sydney Chandler. She will lead the discovery of a mysterious spaceship that crashes on Earth. The cast also includes Timothy Olyphant, who will play Kirsh, an android and her mentor, as well as David Rysdahl. Other roles will be filled by Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, Kit Young, Babou Cessay, Erana James, Lily Newmark, and Adrian Edmonson.

The showrunner of Alien: Earth is Noah Hawley. The creator of the highly popular series Fargo and Legion is working with his regular cinematographer, Dana Gonzales. Of course, Ridley Scott also joins the production team. The series is set to debut on Hulu next year.
