Robert Pattinson Addresses Twilight Critics
Robert Pattinson first appeared alongside Kristen Stewart as vampire Edward Cullen in the 2008 film Twilight. He reprised the role in the series’ subsequent installments, with the final one being The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 in 2012.
“I love that people still say to me, ‘Dude, Twilight ruined the vampire movie genre,'” Pattinson admitted in an interview with GQ Spain.
“Are you still clinging to that nonsense? How can you keep complaining about something that happened almost 20 years ago? It’s crazy,” the actor added.
What’s Next for Pattinson?
Pattinson’s upcoming projects include Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and Matt Reeves’ The Batman Part II. In March, he will also appear in Bong Joon-ho’s Mickey 17.
