Krysten Ritter, known for her role as Jessica Jones, will appear in the new season of Dexter. For some time now, we’ve known that the cast of Dexter: Resurrection also includes Uma Thurman and Peter Dinklage. The premiere is scheduled for this summer.
Dexter: Resurrection – What Do We Know About the Show?
Dexter: Resurrection is set to be a direct continuation of the events in Dexter: New Blood. In the new episodes, we will meet billionaire Leon Prater (played by Peter Dinklage), who appears to be a generous philanthropist and model citizen but is actually hiding dark secrets. Leon will work closely with Uma Thurman’s character, the head of his security—a former special forces officer and one of the best in the business.
Krysten Ritter will play Mia Lapierre, a well-known sommelier who conceals her dark nature.
Filming for Dexter: Resurrection is already underway in New York. Marcos Siega, the creator of Dexter: New Blood, will direct six episodes, while Monica Raymund, director of the prequel Dexter: Original Sin, will helm the remaining four. Clyde Phillips serves as executive producer and showrunner.
The star of the series, as well as one of its producers, is of course Michael C. Hall. The cast also includes familiar faces: David Zayas as Angel Batista, Jack Alcott as Harrison Morgan, and James Remar as Harry Morgan.

Meanwhile, the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin is available on Sky Showtime, featuring Patrick Gibson as the young Dexter.
Set in 1991 Miami, the series follows young Dexter (Gibson) as he transitions from a student to a vengeful serial killer. Unable to ignore his dark urges any longer, he must find an outlet for his bloodthirsty instincts. With guidance from his father, Harry (Slater), he adopts a code to help him track down and kill those unworthy of living in society.
