This Monday, October 13, the cast of “Chien 51” by Cédric Jimenez (“Bac Nord,” “November”) gathered at the Grand Rex for the premiere of the feature film. The French crime thriller stars Gilles Lellouche and Adèle Exarchopoulos. At the event’s photocall, the two actors played along with the photographers, appearing as close as ever.
For this occasion, Adèle Exarchopoulos ditched the fringed bob she sported in the film and on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, opting this time for an elegant slicked-back style and a graphic chignon. But the 31-year-old actress still gave a stylistic nod to her character, sporting a sculpting black look from head to toe.
Adèle Exarchopoulos combines simplicity, sensuality, and elegance
No sheer effects, no material effects, and no plunging necklines or dramatic open backs. For this premiere, Adèle Exarchopoulos opted for a long, disarmingly simple black sheath dress. With long sleeves, a round neckline, and a stretchy fabric, the piece highlighted the actress’s curves with subtle elegance.
Although the star didn’t wear any earrings – a rare occurrence on a red carpet – a few pieces of jewelry were added to add extra sparkle to her outfit: a double white gold chain wrapped around her neck and a few pink and white gold rings set with diamonds on her knuckles were enough to brighten things up.
