Duration of “John Wick: Chapter 4” probably revealed – and it is by far the longest part of the action series

With ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, we not only get the usual unusual action film for the series but also a very long one.

In March, director Chad Stahelski will bring us one of the biggest action highlights of 2023 with ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’. The filmmakers not only bring out heavy artillery in terms of stunts but also reveal that the running time of the film will be tremendous. As reported by Collider, the fourth installment will be the longest film in the series to date.

The first appearance of the titular hero had a running time of 101 minutes, while the sequel ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ served us 123 minutes of concentrated action, and in the latest installment to date, the assassin fought his way through a full 132 minutes. Now, after some time to rest within the film world, John Wick returns for his most sprawling adventure yet. In ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, we can enjoy a whole 169 minutes of unusual action.

However, it should be noted that the running time includes the complete credits. As of yet, the film studio Lionsgate has not released any official information about the running time. While most of the film highlights were showcased in a new trailer during the past Super Bowl LLVII, fans eagerly waited for a new preview of ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ in vain. Instead, Lionsgate announced “Wick Week” immediately after the football game:

New trailer for “John Wick: Chapter 4” out Thursday

According to the announcement, a new trailer for “John Wick: Chapter 4” awaits us on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Lionsgate may reveal the official running time during the “Wick Week” without including the credits. In the video we can already see some excerpts from the fourth film, in which spectacular sequences await us: fights with nunchakus and tomahawks, chases in the desert and through Parisian city traffic, on foot, on horseback or in the beloved Ford Mustang. We can probably look forward to the purest action fireworks.
