We have another trailer for the 4th season of “True Detective.” “True Detective: Night Country” will debut on HBO in January next year. The leading roles will be played by Jodie Foster and Kali Reis.

Here’s the official plot description:
When a long winter night descends over Ennis in Alaska, six men working at an Arctic research station disappear without a trace. To solve this case, Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro will have to confront the darkness within themselves and unearth demons hidden beneath the eternal ice.
For Foster, a two-time Oscar winner (for “The Silence of the Lambs” and “The Accused”), this will be her biggest television challenge to date. The actress began her career in childhood and in the 1970s played in television episodes. Later, as a star, she lent her voice to one of the guest characters in “The Simpsons.”

The series was written by Issa López (“Tigers Are Not Afraid”) and Alan Page Arriaga (“Shiny Girls”). López is set to direct the potential pilot. One of the producers of the season will be Barry Jenkins (“Underground Railroad”).
