Glen Powell – Recent Roles and Upcoming Projects
Powell broke into Hollywood’s A-list with the action-comedy Hit Man, directed by Richard Linklater. A year earlier, he impressed audiences as Lieutenant Jake “Hangman” Seresin in Top Gun: Maverick, alongside Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, and Miles Teller. Before starring in Twisters—a massive hit for Universal—he also appeared in the romantic comedy Anyone But You with Sydney Sweeney.
Currently, Powell is collaborating with Barry Jenkins (Moonlight) on an adaptation of a science fiction novel. Director J.T. Mollner (Strange Darling) is also vying for Powell’s involvement in a new installment of the cult horror franchise The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Powell recently wowed audiences with his comedic timing in Richard Linklater’s Hit Man and was also a charming presence in the blockbuster Twisters, co-starring Daisy Edgar-Jones.
The project doesn’t have a title yet, but it’s being developed for Universal Pictures.
