The multiverse makes it possible: In the new Marvel trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine,” there is a first look at Lady Deadpool and many more.
Marvel fans can hardly wait: On July 24, 2024, Ryan Reynolds will make his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool. Thanks to the multiverse, Disney and Marvel Studios compensate the fan base for the long, long wait not only with one Deadpool but also with Hugh Jackman as Logan, aka Wolverine, and many more Deadpool variants. There are plenty of those in the comic universe, including Kidpool, Dogpool, Galactipool, Zenpool, Venompool, King Deadpool, and Lady Deadpool, to name a few. And as the brand-new trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine” has just revealed, some of them will come to the aid of the unlikely pair in the fight against evil and against each other:
It has been known for some time that Dogpool would be part of the movie. Lady Deadpool has also been confirmed, with her faceless reveal sparking much discussion among fans: especially about who could be under the mask. Some believe it could be Ryan Reynolds’ wife, actress Blake Lively, while others see the rumors confirmed that Taylor Swift could make a cameo appearance in this role – even though it was vehemently denied that the world’s currently most successful singer would be part of the movie. Both have blonde hair, but the physique seems more like Lively:
