“Star Academy” is finally back on TF1! On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, Nikos Aliagas will host a launch prime time show eagerly awaited by fans of the talent show, who have been enthusiastic since the channel relaunched the famous concept. And to present this thirteenth season, the director and teachers of “Star Academy” were invited to the set of “Quotidien” this Friday, October 17th, 2025.
Star Academy 2025: Between New Features and Traditions
As has been the case since the grand return of “Star Academy” on TF1, Michaël Goldman will take over as director at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys. Viewers will also be able to find Marlène Schaff leading the stage performance classes, Sofia Morgavi leading the singing classes, and Ladji Doucouré leading the sports classes. As for the newcomers, Jonathan Jenvrin will be in charge of dance and choreography for the primetimes, while Papy has been chosen for the theater classes. And all these wonderful people answered Yann Barthès’ questions on “Quotidien.”
“They are isolated in a hotel.”
As with every launch of a new season of “Star Academy,” the host wanted to know more. Particularly about the number of young talents who will make up the class of 2025. Experienced at this guessing exercise, Michaël Goldman held firm and revealed nothing on the subject. But the director did give some news of the candidates on the eve of the big launch primetime show on TF1. We were able to discover the very strict rules that govern the lives of these young talents since they were selected to participate in “Star Academy”: “They spent their day rehearsing at Studio 217, and now they’re isolated in a hotel,” said Michaël Goldman.
“They’re all true amateurs.”
Later, the director of Star Academy explained that the students don’t yet know each other. Everything is done to ensure that: “They’re supposed to stay away from each other.” As every year, TF1 revealed the identities of some of the students through the media. This year, four students have already been introduced to the public: Théo, Léo, Sarah, and Emma. The latter learned that she was selected by none other than Héléna Bailly, a former “Star Academy” student. “They’re all true amateurs, and that’s very important,” Michaël Goldman insisted. And to conclude, without blinking: “I sincerely think that this is the strongest promotion we’ve had since the beginning.” So, who will succeed Marine, the big winner of the twelfth season of “Star Academy”?
