Netflix in 2024: Stars, Novelties, and Hits. What awaits us this year? “Squid Game,” “Bridgerton,” and “Cobra Kai” are coming back

Netflix has released a trailer announcing productions that will debut on the service in 2024. In the footage, we can see the first glimpses of upcoming films and series on the platform.

Among them are both upcoming premieres (“The Three-Body Problem,” “Black Doves,” “Eric”) and returning hits (“Bridgerton,” “Cobra Kai,” “Squid Game”). Among the stars we’ll see in platform productions this year are Benedict Cumberbatch, Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx, Keira Knightley, and Jennifer Lopez. See for yourselves:

Netflix – What series will we see in 2024?

Among the new series announced for this year by Netflix are adaptations of the popular science fiction novel “The Three-Body Problem” by Liu Cixin from the creators of “Game of Thrones” (March 21), “Avatar: The Last Airbender,” a remake of the famous animated series (February 22), the western “American Primeval” starring Taylor Kitsch, and the spy thriller “Black Doves” starring Keira Knightley.

Returning for additional seasons will also be Netflix hits: the second season of “Arcane” (November), the third season of “Bridgerton” (first part – May 16, second part – June 13), the sixth season of “Cobra Kai,” the second season of “The Diplomat,” the fourth season of “Emily in Paris,” and the third season of “Heartstopper.”

On the list of platform film premieres are, among others: the science fiction spectacle starring Jennifer Lopez, “Atlas”; the action comedy featuring Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz, “Back in Action”; Jaume Collet-Serra’s thriller starring Taron Egerton, “Carry On”; the adventure film “Damsel” starring Millie Bobby Brown (March 8); Richard Linklater’s “Hit Man” starring Glen Powell and Adria Arjona; Tyler Perry’s war drama “Six Triple Eight” starring Kerry Washington; and Jerry Seinfeld’s comedy “Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story” (May 3). Sequels will also premiere: Zack Snyder’s “Rebel Moon – Part 2: Inflicting Wounds” (April 19) and “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” starring Eddie Murphy (July 3).
