What “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos: The Movie” is About

Directed by Tomoya Takahashi, this final chapter of Naoko Takeuchi’s manga series focuses on the “Shadow Galactica” arc. Sailor Moon embarks on her final battle to save her friends and the entire universe from none other than Sailor Galaxia. This formidable opponent is collecting the crystals of the warriors to take over the galaxy. Unexpected support comes from another star system – the Sailor Starlights rush to help. Can the Sailor Guardians save the universe from destruction?

“Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos” Continues From the Last Movie

If you want to know which enemies Bunny faced in the previous movie, you should check out “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie” by Chiaki Kon. Almost 25 years after the last “Sailor Moon” movie, Tsukino as Sailor Moon and the other Sailor Guardians must face evil once again. Following the four-part series “Sailor Moon Crystal,” after a total solar eclipse, the malevolent circus group “Dead Moon Circus” emerges, while Mamoru is afflicted with an inexplicable illness. The galactic fighters must join forces to prevent the destruction of the planet.

While fans in Japan had to wait almost a month for the second half of “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie” to hit theaters, Netflix offers both parts of the anime series.

“Sailor Moon: Dangerous Flowers”

In 1993, the first film production featuring Bunny hit Japanese theaters. Although the production didn’t make it to cinemas in Germany, the first movie did air on German TV screens (via Sailor Moon Wiki), connecting to the related anime seasons.

Together with Mamoru, Bunny, and her friends visit a botanical garden and meet Mamoru’s former friend, Fiore. As it turns out, this “friend” is no ordinary person, and what seems like a kind gesture – a rose – is not as harmless as it appears. It seems to have a sinister effect on people. Sailor Moon must now join forces with her comrades to combat this eerie power and save her friend Mamoru and the planet’s inhabitants.
