Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in the Sequel to “Practical Magic”

Warner Bros. is revisiting the idea of making another film inspired by the comedy “Practical Magic.” A few years ago, the studio planned a prequel, but now they want to create a legacy sequel.

The Owens Sisters Will Return

“Practical Magic” is a 1998 film starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

The actresses played the Owens sisters, who come from an ancient line of witches. Sally and Gillian move into their eccentric aunts’ house. Under their guidance, they learn how to practice witchcraft. Over time, the sisters discover a curse placed on their family. According to the curse, “love must end in death.”

The sequel project is in the early stages of development. Currently, there isn’t even a plot. Akiva Goldsman, who co-wrote the original, will prepare the new storyline.

It is known that Warner Bros. wants both stars of the original film, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman, to appear in “Practical Magic 2.” Negotiations with them are ongoing. If successful, both actresses will also serve as producers of the entire project.
