Tilda Swinton: Proud owner of a ‘complete collection’ of false teeth

Tilda Swinton joked that she owns “a complete collection” of false teeth.

The ‘Michael Clayton’ actress has worn different sets of teeth for her different film roles over the years and has kept all the bespoke pieces made by British company Fangs FX.

The actress joked that she might donate the teeth from her collection to the Academy Museum in Los Angeles so the institute can have a “room full of teeth” on display there. Speaking to PEOPLE.com at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 15), where she received the Visionary Award, Tilda said: “There’s an amazing dental technician named Chris Lyons who I have been working together for years. He has a wonderful company in London called Fangs FX and I got a lot of amazing teeth, rows of teeth made by him… I have a complete collection.

Exactly.” Tilda was recognized at the event for her “extensive body of work” and “her commitment to collaborating with some of cinema’s boldest innovators.” During her performance, the star stressed that she would enjoy developing relationships with filmmakers. Swinton added, “When I get into a relationship with someone and we start making films together, it often lasts a very long time.” The 61-year-old actress also credited the museum for showing so much over the years documented by Hollywod.
