A new animated film from the director of “Waltz with Bashir” depicts Anne Frank’s life and the famous diary from her hiding place.
“Where is Anne Frank” is about Kitty, the fictional friend that Anne talks to in her diary that comes to life in the museum that was once the Frank family’s hiding place. Through the diary, Kitty’s memories are revived, because if Kitty is alive, it must mean that Anne is also alive. Kitty embarks on a quest that will take her from today’s Amsterdam and back to war-torn Europe to find her old friend.
