“War for the Planet of the Apes” will debut in America on May 10. Initial box-office forecasts predict an opening of $54-61 million for the spectacle. This represents a debut comparable to that of previous installments. “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” which refreshed the brand, earned $54.8 million in its opening weekend.
