“As we know, at the end of the District Entertainment arc, there was a spoiler indicating that Muzan had gathered the remaining upper moon demons somewhere. It was revealed that Muzan’s intention in gathering them was to inquire about the performance of the top moon demon. This spoiler alludes to the upcoming arc, the Swordsmith Village arc.
Before learning about the broadcast schedule and where to watch the Kimetsu No Yaiba Swordsmith Village arc, here is some information about leaks from episode 1 of the arc.
The first scene will show the remaining upper moon demons and their leader Muzan the demon king gathering together. Akaza (Upper Moon Demon 3) suddenly finds himself in an unfamiliar place, which seems like an endless castle. He is confused about his location but knows that Muzan brought him there and that another upper moon demon has died.
After several scenes, Akaza finally meets a demon playing a musical instrument. He asks about the whereabouts of Master Muzan and the other Upper Moon Demons, and Gyoko (Upper Moon Demon 5) greets him and provides an answer to his question.
Gyoko greets Akaza and asks how he has been after 90 years of not seeing each other. Gyoko is also aware of the news that Akaza almost died while fighting against the Pillar of Fire and Tanjiro.
The conversation is then interrupted by the 4th Upper Moon Demon, Hantengu, who points out that Gyoko’s count is wrong as they have actually not seen each other for 113 years.
Despite the interruption, Akaza asks Demon Biawa if Muzan has arrived yet. When he learns that Muzan has not yet arrived, he inquires about the whereabouts of Upper Moon Demon 1 who has yet to be seen.
Douma (Upper Moon Demon 2) gently asks Akaza why he didn’t say hello and instead asked about Upper Moon Demon 1. However, Akaza seems to dislike him and punches him in the face. Although the punch does not do much harm, Douma comments that Akaza has become stronger.
The scene then shows the Biawa demon stating that Kokhusibo (Upper Moon Demon 1) has arrived before the others. Kokhusibo is depicted as sitting with a cold demeanor and voice. He says, “I’m here” and “Muzan-sama has come,” prompting all the upper moon demons to immediately prostrate themselves.
Muzan appears calmly but ominously and announces that one of the upper moon demons has died.
Douma apologized for his role in turning Gyutaro into a demon and offered to give his eyes as compensation. However, Muzan refused and claimed that he already knew Gyutaro would lose because of his attachment to Daki and humanity. Muzan became angry that they still hadn’t found Ubuyashiki, the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Most of the upper moon demons apologized for their failure to find Ubuyashiki, except for Gyokko, who claimed to have information on Ubuyashiki’s whereabouts and the location of the Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village. Muzan ordered Gyokko and Hantengu to go there and confirm the information.
After Muzan left, the remaining upper moon demons argued until the first upper moon demon intervened. The first episode of the Kimetsu No Yaiba Swordsmith Village arc is now complete. The upcoming episodes will feature an exciting battle between Tanjiro and his friends against two upper moon demons and the display of the powers of the Mist and Love Hashiras.
