The cast of Ari Aster’s latest horror film, “Eddington,” is taking shape with the addition of Christopher Abbott. The actor joins the previously announced cast members, Emma Stone, and Joaquin Phoenix.
What do we know about the film “Eddington”?
Ari Aster has been preparing to shoot “Eddington” for some time now. The cast is confirmed to include Joaquin Phoenix, the star of the director’s previous film, “Hereditary.” Even before the actors’ strike, there were reports that Pedro Pascal had also received an offer to appear in the film.
The official plot of “Eddington” has not been revealed. Unofficially, it is said that the title refers to a small town in New Mexico where the story will unfold.
The main characters are Lindsay and Marc, a couple traveling by car through New Mexico on their way to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, their vehicle breaks down, and the protagonists decide to seek help in the nearby town of Eddington. Initially, they are warmly welcomed by the residents. However, as night falls, the idyllic atmosphere evaporates, replaced by a nightmare.
