Marvel Reinforcement for “Deadpool 3”: Ryan Reynolds Reveals a Furry New Addition in the First Image

Forget Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine: the most important and best addition to “Deadpool 3” has just been unveiled by Ryan Reynolds in an image! And it’s rocking!

Thank goodness, the labor dispute of the powerful Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) is over! The Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP), on behalf of Hollywood studios and streaming services, has made an offer that meets the demands of SAG-AFTRA.

This means that work on the first productions can resume immediately. Among the projects of the highest priority is the Marvel production “Deadpool 3,” along with “Beetlejuice 2.” Originally, the Merc with a Mouth was supposed to make his grand debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) on May 1, 2024. However, this date was canceled altogether since it was not clear how long the actors’ strike would last. According to information, even with an immediate resumption of shooting, the current production status would not allow for a mid-2024 theatrical release. Instead, “Captain America: Brave New World” might be moved up.

What the end of the SAG-AFTRA labor dispute also means – and this is currently much more important than any movie release – is that Hollywood’s superstars can finally speak out about their film and television productions and promote their studios again. And that’s exactly what the already media-savvy Ryan Reynolds immediately used to unveil a very special addition to “Deadpool 3.” He also gives hope for an earlier theatrical release than expected:

Possibly, it is at least conceivable that “Deadpool 3” and “Captain America: Brave New World” could swap release dates. The latter would regain its original release date, and Shawn Levy (“Free Guy”) would have more time to complete “Deadpool 3” without losing the valuable summer timeframe. And while you’re at it, take a look at the announcement teaser for “Deadpool 3” in the video for old times’ sake.

“Deadpool 3”: Who the Hell Is Dogpool? A damn good question, isn’t it? At least for those who have nothing to do with comics and focus solely on the cinematic MCU. But don’t worry, Dogpool is not a half-hearted attempt by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige to attract a new audience. In fact, this adorable creature is a legitimate member of the Deadpool Corps from the comics. Admittedly, the comic version of Dogpool looks a bit more intimidating and not quite as unattractive as the screen version, but she can’t help her appearance. Like other Deadpool versions, Dogpool can heal itself. Within the Deadpool Corps, he is closest to Kidpool, another peculiar character.

Fans can definitely look forward to what the film version of Dogpool is capable of, apart from looking strangely adorable. Furthermore, his confirmation is another hint at a potential road trip across the multiverse.

And if you thought Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine and the countless other rumors of a reunion with Ben Affleck’s Daredevil, Nicolas Cage’s Ghost Rider, and Channing Tatum’s Gambit, who never saw the light of day, were already crazy, well, now you may have lost your heart to Dogpool. You can follow Dogpool on Instagram. By the way, you can stream the first two “Deadpool” films on Disney+.
