The new DC Comics cinematic universe has just enriched itself with another title. Ana Nogueira has been hired to write the screenplay for the live-action movie “Teen Titans.”

The Teen Titans in the new DC universe

The Teen Titans are a group of teenage superheroes who maintain order in Jump City. The team includes Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven. The Titans made their debut in comic books in the 1960s. On-screen, we’ve seen them in two Cartoon Network series and the 2018 film “Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.”

Ana Nogueira is emerging as one of the pillars of the DC universe. Recall that a few months ago, the actress and playwright was hired to write the screenplay for the film “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,” in which Milly Alcock will play the title role.

Remember that the foundation for the new DC cinematic universe will be laid by the spectacle “Superman.” Its director and screenwriter is one of the leaders of DC Studios, James Gunn. The film is currently in production, with a scheduled release in July 2025. The cast includes David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult.
