Heroes become villains and vice versa in the upcoming strategy game “Marvel’s Midnight Suns”.
On October 7, the strategy game “Marvel’s Midnight Suns” will be released for Playstation, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC, where we will see supernatural superheroes like Blade and Ghost Rider work with the Avengers to defeat the demon Lilith, who wants to unleash an ancient god.
In a new trailer for the game, we get to see the slimy Venom being recruited by the villains, at the same time as Spider-Man from the “Marvel’s Spider-Man” games with the voice of Yuri Lowenthal appears. Does it take place in the same universe?
In the trailer we also get to see the Hulk, Thanos and several other famous superheroes and villains in occult versions.
The game is developed by Firaxis Games, which is behind the “XCOM” series, which “Marvel’s Midnight Suns” is very reminiscent of. Last year, the studio announced that they were postponing the game until the second half of 2022, to add more story, interludes and polish the game further.
The game has received mixed reviews in advance as it had uneven graphics and that it looks a bit too much like an “XCOM” with Marvel characters. However, I think it looks really interesting, with an exciting card-based system for choosing what your characters should do in battle.
“Marvel’s Midnight Suns” is coming to Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, Nintendo Switch and PC on October 7.
Which heroes and villains do you want to see in the game?
