“Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery”: Josh Brolin Joins Daniel Craig

The fun of expanding the cast of “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” continues. Josh Brolin will appear in the sequel to “Knives Out” and “Glass Onion.” The crime thriller, directed by Rian Johnson, will of course star Daniel Craig.

“Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” is Coming

Josh Brolin is likely to be the next suspect on Detective Benoit Blanc’s list. For now, we do not know who Brolin will play or what “Wake Up Dead Man” will be about.

We last saw Brolin in “Dune: Part Two.” His filmography also includes “No Country for Old Men,” “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Sicario,” “Deadpool 2,” “Inherent Vice,” “American Gangster,” “Hail, Caesar!,” “Everest,” and “Milk.”

“Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” is Coming

The third installment in the “Knives Out” series will be titled “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.” Daniel Craig will return as Benoit Blanc. The detective will appear in a completely new setting to solve the mystery of a murder. The details of the film’s plot are not yet known.

The cast also includes Josh O’Connor (“Challengers”), Cailee Spaeny (“Civil War”), Tom Hardy (“Venom”), Lindsay Lohan (“Falling for Christmas”), Andrew Scott (“Good Vibrations”), Glenn Close (“Stone Mission”), Jeremy Renner (“Hawkeye”), and Mila Kunis (“Luckiest Girl Alive”).

The premiere is planned for next year, and the film is, of course, being prepared for the Netflix platform.
