He’s a major player in the Star Wars universe, but he wasn’t present in the final season of The Mandalorian. A circumstance that offended the actor behind the character a little.

In the second season of The Mandalorian, one of the most famous bounty hunters from the Star Wars universe made his big comeback. He then even got his own series with “The Book of Boba Fett” and in “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Boba Fett actor Temuera Morrison was allowed to present himself in one episode as a clone trooper veteran. However, he was denied an appearance in The Mandalorian Season 3, which according to Comicbook.com was somewhat disappointing.

In “The Book of Boba Fett” Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) from “The Mandalorian” was involved in three episodes, so that both characters were quite present in each other’s series. Temuera Morrison had also expected an appearance in the third season of “The Mandalorian”, but no one from the series creators has contacted him. Speaking at the recent Supanova Comic Con & Gaming in Melbourne, the 62-year-old actor explained:

“I was supposed to be on season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian‘ but nobody called me. I waited for the call in New Zealand, waited and was about to give up.”

Temuera Morrison on the Mandalorian
In The Book of Boba Fett, Din Djarin was treated to the entire fifth episode, in which Boba Fett barely appears. The Mandalorian also plays an important role in the sixth and seventh episodes, which is why many fans criticized that the eponymous main character’s own series was partly stolen by another character. However, Temuera Morrison took a humorous view of the matter, as evidenced by his wry statement:

“Well, the Mando guy stole some chapters from my book. It was painful to watch as he emerged with a new black deadly sword. And the way he showed up in my Boba book, he just screwed everyone up. I’m sure this guy is…ah…ruining my show. But I couldn’t say anything. I’m not the author, so I guess I have to put up with it.”

However, we may see Boba Fett again in the next season of The Mandalorian or in The Book of Boba Fett. At the moment, however, the confirmation of a new season is still pending for both productions. If you want to watch the two series, you will find all previous seasons of the two series as well as numerous other “Star Wars” highlights on offer on Disney+.
