After the trailer for the upcoming seventh film in the series, “Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part 1”, leaked online, it is now available to everyone.
The other day we were able to tell you that the trailer for the seventh film in the series, “Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1”, was leaked on social media.
Now Paramount Pictures has set up the trailer themselves, for everyone to see in fine quality.
“Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part 1” premieres on July 14 next year, so it will be a while before we get to see the seemingly really action-packed film in cinemas. “Dead Reckoning: Part 2” will come sometime in 2024.
The film is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously did “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” and “Mission Impossible: Fallout”.
In addition to seeing some cool scenes like a sniper duel in a desert storm, a chase on a moving train and Tom Cruise riding a motorcycle down a cliff, we also get to see Hayley Atwell (“Agent Carter”) as a new character and Esai Morales (“Ozark”) as the movie’s villain. Some recurring roles are Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby.
“Mission Impossible” is based on the TV series of the same name from 1966, where we see Tom Cruise as the special agent Ethan Hunt who embarks on various missions. What exactly “Dead Reckoning” is about is hard to say based on the trailer, but a lot of action is promised. In the trailer we also get to see the actor Henry Czerny, who played the head of the organization Impossible Mission Force in the old TV series.
