Rumor: Amber Heard scenes clipped from “Aquaman 2”

The scandal-ridden actor now has “less than 10 minutes of playing time” according to reports.

Criticism of actress Amber Heard could lead to a heavily toned down role in the upcoming “Aquaman” sequel.

According to a (unconfirmed) rumor published by Movieweb and TMZ, among others, Warner Bros. has cut Heard’s role as Mera – she has “less than 10 minutes of playing time”, says film journalist Grace Randolph.

If this is true it could be one of the reasons why “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is delayed. James Wan’s superhero movie was supposed to go to the cinema at Christmas 2022 but will instead come in March 2023, which became clear a few weeks ago. The studio has not given an official reason for the changed release date.
